From October 29 to November 3, 2024, the XIII International Festival Sikorsky Challenge 2024: Innovations for the Peace and Security of Ukraine was held at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.

By the decision of the Committee for the National Prize of Ukraine named after Borys Paton, scholarships from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine have been awarded to young scientists of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE). This is a significant recognition of their achievements in scientific activity and their contribution to the development of modern science.

Institute of Civil Engineering  and Architecture (ICEA) celebrated its 60th anniversary.

The festive gathering was attended by current and former faculty members, researchers, staff, and guests.

In Rivne, exchanged experiences in preserving and improving the Ukrainians’ mental health. As part of the working visit to the Rivne region by the Coordination Centre for Mental Health under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and regional coordinators from across the country, officials visited the network of municipal institutions in the region, including our University. 

A meeting dedicated to the honest use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by students and faculty was held at the Scientific Library of the National University of Water and Environmental Enineering (NUWEE).

The dissemination event of the Erasmus+ KA2 project, co-financed by the European Union, held at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, this event was organized by the project consortium "INTERADIS / Integration and Adaptation of International Students."

From October 28 to November 1, 2024, representatives from the NUWEE, Viktor Moshynskyi, Vladyslav Solodkyi, Dmytro Nikytenko and Yelyzaveta Mykhailova took part in the final project meeting of the Erasmus+ INTERADIS initiative in Dordrecht, the Netherlands. The INTERADIS project, formally known as the International Students Adaptation and Integration project, has been dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for international students across partner universities, with NUWEE playing a crucial role throughout its duration.

For twenty-five years, the Radio Dictation of National Unity takes place on the Day of Ukrainian Language and Literature. 

At the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, "The Magic of the Voice" (the title of this year's dictation) was listened to and written by everyone: students from various disciplines, professors and associate professors, and staff members of the university’s departments.

In the Open Office of NUWEE, as part of the All-Ukrainian program on mental health "How are you?", on the Community Action Day was held a meeting on the topic: "Mental health in universities - we care about the stability of students and teachers".
