In the Carpathian village of Babyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region, the Summer School for active students of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities has ended. At the same time, the event was also a volunteer BUR-camp (BUR-camp is a volunteer construction camp in small towns or villages of Ukraine, which attracts young people from all over the country to volunteer).

In the spring of 2023, the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities was founded to address the challenges facing the country and Ukrainian society after the full-scale invasion of russia.

In addition to the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, the community includes Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Dnipro University of Technology, Sumy State University, Ukrainian Catholic University, and Kyiv School of Economics.

In May 2024, the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering officially became a partner of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) and from now our university is the first and only member of the IIBA academic program among higher education institutions in Ukraine. In the catalog of partner institutions of iiba.org, NUWEE is listed together with the world's leading universities, which also received access to IIBA's licensed educational materials.

I had a great opportunity to participate as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 program in the international summer semester "Agriculture, Food and Nutrition", which lasted from April 22 to July 12, 2024 at the University of Applied Sciences, Triesdorf, Germany. The semester program has been specially designed for undergraduate students in the field of agricultural sciences and focuses on modern aspects of agriculture and food security.

The final monitoring of the grant project "Development of organic berry growing in united territorial communities", which was implemented with the support of Switzerland within the framework of the "Organic trade for development in Eastern Europe" (OT4D) program, implemented by IFOAM - Organics International in partnership with HELVETAS Swiss, took place Intercooperation and Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL, Switzerland).

For many years, PL has been a reliable partner of NUWEE in the educational and scientific sphere.

On 26.07.2024, Jeffrey Fredericks, infrastructure manager of the "Harvest" project of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) visited NUWEE on a working visit.

On Thursday, July 4, a photo exhibition dedicated to volunteers from Belarus who fought on the side of Ukraine and died during the Russian-Ukrainian war was opened on the fourth floor of the first building of the University.

On June 27, 2024, the laboratory of integrated multitrophic aquaculture was officially opened at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering. The equipment for the laboratory was purchased with grant funds within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA2 AFISHE project "Development of education in the field of aquaculture and fisheries for the Green Deal in Armenia and Ukraine: from education to ecology."
