On September 28, 2024, our university turns 109 years old.
Our alma mater had to go through a difficult and thorny path - from a hydrotechnical school to IHE with the status of "National".
In addition- two world wars, moving from Kyiv to Rivne, COVID, war with russia... However, none of these trials stopped us. We move, develop dynamically, teach and learn, introduce innovations, make the learning process as safe, as comfortable and convenient as possible, give the opportunity to acquire nonformal and informal education, choose disciplines, etc.
Soon, after the victory, Ukraine will need highly qualified specialists in the fields of construction and civil engineering, agricultural engineering, automation, electrical and computer-integrated technologies, water engineering and water technologies, geology and hydrology, hydropower, thermal power and hydraulic machines, hydraulic construction and hydraulics, who are prepared right here, in our University.
NUWEE is an open and transparent university, a space for interaction between students, teachers, businesses, authorities and ordinary citizens.
This year, the university took 33rd place in the consolidated rating of IHEs of Ukraine and 26th place in the international HE Higher Education Ranking 2024, according to the Scopus-2024 indicators, the institution ranks 34th, and in the SCImago rating of IHEs– 18th. Such high results indicate that we are moving in the right direction. There are many achievements ahead, so we do not stop, but work to continue to maintain the high status of the national university.
