The Non-formal Education Center of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering was established in early 2020.

The main functions of the Non-formal Education Center are:

- organization of the process of non-formal education and its integration into the general educational process at the University;
- organizing and conducting, with or without the issuance of relevant documents on education, educational seminars, master classes, courses and other types of educational activities on a paid and free basis;
- control and advisory support for the enrollment of the results of non-formal and informal education, the procedure for which is regulated by a separate provision;
- development, implementation and maintenance of e-learning materials, distance learning courses;
- information support of non-formal education at the University.
