For two days on March 26 and 27 at the Kyiv National University named after T. Shevchenko hosted the Second Annual Forum of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities: "Management of Higher Education Institutions in Wartime".

In the international rating of research institutions, compiled by SCImago, NUWEE took 18th place out of 49 Ukrainian universities and scored 7,296 points. Specifically, the overall percentile is 64, the research percentile is 43, the innovation percentile is 84, and the social percentile is 54.

ERASMUS+ is a program of international cooperation of the European Union with other countries of the world in the field of education, youth and sports. The program aims to support the educational, professional and personal development of citizens of the EU and beyond in order to contribute to sustainable growth, quality of jobs and social cohesion, to develop innovations and strengthen European identity and active citizenship. The program supportsa educational and academic mobility opportunities in education and for youth, projects and partnerships, development of strategies and cooperation, professional networks and open resources.

On March 21, was an opening of a new student space at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, namely in the first dormitory. From now on, our students, as well as other progressive youth of Rivne, will be able to spend their time with greater benefit.

NUWEE took the 26th place in the international HE Higher Education Ranking, 2024, scoring 7,658 points among 303 institutions of higher education, academies and research educational institutions, research institutes.

Last week (February 19-24, 2024) the University of Porto hosted the first part of the internship of lecturers of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE) under the program of the ERASMUS+ AFISHE project "Development of Aquaculture and Fisheries Education for Green Deal in Armenia and Ukraine: from education to ecology".

On March 21, a round table on "Artificial intelligence in education: questions and answers" was held online at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering.

The purpose of the event was to popularize among scientific and pedagogical workers the possibilities of using AI for educational activities and to increase the general level of intellectualization.

Using information from open sources (data from the EU Information Service - Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS), EACEA Projects Results Platform, MES, CMU, National Research Fund of Ukraine), the Center for International Projects "Euroeducation" determined the efficiency rating of participation of higher education institutions of Ukraine in the main competitions scientific projects (international and domestic) in 2023.

NUWEE took 42nd place among 192 institutions of higher education in the 2024 ranking of Ukrainian universities conducted by the UniRank portal.
