Within the scope of continuing close cooperation of the university with the YEP Accelerator, the Democracy Changers Ideathon took place the other day in OPEN OFFICE. YEP is an ecosystem of innovative entrepreneurship, which since 2016 has provided young people with opportunities to realize themselves through entrepreneurship, incubation and acceleration programs, university courses and mentoring.

On June 19, 2024, at the department of Agricultural of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of NUWEE, the educational laboratory "Systems of Precision Farming" was officially opened.

The Rivne City Council continues to implement the "NET ZERO Cities" climate neutrality project.

On June 19, 2024, the Head of the Legal Department of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, Dmytro Pukha, took part in an event dedicated to discussing the results of the Ombudsman's Office in 2023, which was called "The Way of Dignity: The Fight for Human Rights." The event was organized by a representative of the Office of the Ombudsman in the Rivne region together with the Rivne Regional Council, the Rivne Regional State Administration and the Rivne City Council.

On June 5-7, 2024 in the city of Ulcinj, Montenegro held an event of the World Bank PULSAR regional program. Representatives of the Ministries of Finance, universities and professional organizations of the following countries participate in the program, which began in 2017: Albania; Armenia; Azerbaijan; Bosnia and Herzegovina; Georgia; Kosovo; Moldova; Montenegro; North Macedonia; Serbia; Ukraine, etc. The partners of the program are Austria, Switzerland and the World Bank, which provide institutional support for its implementation and the resources necessary for its operation.

After a four-year break, the festival of student creativity "Studvesna", exactly the gala concert, which has been taking place at our university for more than 40 years and gives students the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and talents as singers, dancers, readers and musicians.

A round table "Digital transformation of the university in the context of the development of artificial intelligence" was held in the conference hall of the NUWEE.

Every year, the university participates in the celebration of the professional holiday of science employees of Ukraine. 

On May 22, 2024, our Rector Viktor Moshynskyi and Vice-Rector for Development and Communication, Andrii Podlevskyi had a meeting  with representatives of the Business Unity Association led by the Chairman of the Board Mykola Livshuk. During the meeting, a number of future areas of cooperation were discussed.
