An educational event of the Educational Center of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine took place in the NUWEE, with the support of the American Councils for International Education in Ukraine and the USAID "Council" Program.

The event was opened by the head of the Educational Center of the VRU, Olena Kostyniuk. Mrs. Olena spoke about the activities of the Educational Center, and, in particular, about this interactive educational event, which took place as part of trips to the regions of Ukraine.

From October 24 to 31, 2023, the NUWEE championship basketball competition was held in the sports building of the university, as part of the XXV Spartakiad of the NUWEE.

During almost all of last week, the festival of student creativity "Golden Autumn" took place at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering. It differs from the “Student Spring” in that among the participants only first-year students. Thus, talented first-year students get to know their senior colleagues.

In the period of October 25-30, students of the fourth year of the specialization "Automation and computer-integrated technologies" participated in the project "Dialogue of student unity: Ukraine and Poland". It was organized by the Ukrainian Student Association  together with the Student Parliament of the Republic of Poland (PSRP).

On Friday, October 27, was a radio dictation of national unity. The dictation was usually held on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. However, this year President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on changing the date of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language - from November 9 to October 27.

At the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, a mass sports event "Olympic Lesson" was held, the participants of which were youth of Rivne, timed to the International Day of Student Sports.

The participants of the event were greeted by Viktor Moshynskyi, rector of NUWEE, and Vitaliy Lipskyi, head of the youth and sports department of the regional state administration.

Dear friends, partners, NUWEE students, as well as everyone who wants to join the victory of Ukraine over russia, that is, good over evil! Together with you, we have been waging a war of various kinds against the occupier for more than one day, and we are sure that every day will bring us closer to Victory!

Today in Kyiv, at the Kyiv School of Economics, the first event was held within the framework of the pilot project of cooperation between the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities and communities for the reconstruction of Ukraine, namely the educational forum "Rebuilding Ukraine through the synergy of universities and territorial communities". The goal of the project is to contribute to the formation of self-reliance in communities, more effective governance and the involvement of qualified experts for local development.

In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education", the Statute of NUWEE and based on the decision of the Academic Council of the University, the academic and research Institutions of Water Management and Environmental Engineering will have a new name: the academic and research Institute of Energy, Automatics and Water Management.
