We are pleased to announce that our scientific journal "Rehabilitation and Recreation" has been included in ERIH PLUS.
This can be considered a significant achievement, as all submitted journals are carefully evaluated for inclusion in this database based on minimum criteria and other evaluation factors. If a journal is rejected during evaluation, it will be restricted from resubmission for at least two years. The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that rejected journals improve their practices according to the reasons for rejection provided by the ERIH PLUS team.
ERIH PLUS minimum criteria
Only scientific periodicals/journals can be included in ERIH PLUS. Journals must meet the following minimum requirements:
- ERIH PLUS requires a clear description of the journal's procedures for external/independent review. At a minimum, the journal's website should describe how the process ensures that reviewers are independent of authors, that is, not affiliated with a single institution.
- ERIH PLUS requires academic editorial board members to be listed.
- ERIH PLUS requires a valid ISSN code verified by the International ISSN Portal.
- ERIH PLUS requires all original articles to be accompanied by abstracts in English. As the ERIH PLUS team needs access to the abstracts to evaluate the journal, they must be available online.
- ERIH PLUS requires author affiliation information for all scientific articles within the last two years of publication, i.e. the full names of the respective universities or other independent research institutions. ERIH PLUS encourages journals to also include authors' addresses (e-mail or postal addresses).
- ERIH PLUS requires that no more than two-thirds of the authors published in the journal belong to a single institution. Journal authorship is determined by peer review for the last two years of publication.
Abstract database and citation of scientific materials ERIH PLUS is the world's largest platform for publications and tracking of works in the social and humanitarian spheres.
ERIH is a highly authoritative reference index for the humanities and social sciences, which form the core of the European scientific foundation.
ERIH is generally considered a respected and recognizable resource, it is not included in black or fake metrics, which is very important for the popularization of the journal in the scientific circles of Europe and the world.
ERIH can be a stepping stone for a journal on the way to Scopus or the Web of Science Core Collection.
