As part of participation in the Global Open Source Electronic Health Records Summit and the Deployment of Open Source Electronic Health Records training, jointly conducted by Fordham University (USA) and Oxford University, and to establish cooperation in the educational, scientific, and grant spheres, Galyna Vlasiuk, the leading specialist in the Center for International Cooperation and Education, completed an internship.
During the visit, an agreement was reached to conduct a series of workshops at NUWEE on the development and implementation of electronic medical records systems and telemedicine models with certification from Fordham University, USA.
The summer school dates are August 5-16, 2024. The target audience includes students of the 3rd-4th years, master's students, postgraduates, IT, and medical professionals.
Additionally, there is an opportunity for scholarships for NUWEE postgraduates and 2 scholarships for NUWEE master's students for the online master's program "Applied Informatics in Medicine", with a two-week offline part in Oxford. The program starts at the end of September 2024.
Upon completion of the internship, certificates were issued for attending the workshop, and contacts were established for further cooperation with foreign colleagues.
