Dream Week

During April, the university implemented the "Dream Week" project - a unique opportunity for high school students to immerse themselves into the world of student life at NUWEE and experience its multifaceted nature.

The aim of the project is to familiarize students with a wide range of specialties at the university and to help them orient themselves in choosing their future profession.

Throughout one week, high school students became students in their dream specialties and joined senior students in lectures, practical classes, and laboratory sessions. The students spent the entire week vividly and informatively, made new friends, and experienced the academic atmosphere of student life.

The impressions of the first week of the project exceeded all expectations of both participants and organizers. This prompted the organization of an additional second week of the project. A total of 58 individuals participated from eight high schools in the city during the first week, and 52 individuals participated from seven high schools during the second week.

Each academic and scientific institute warmly welcomed the project participants. It is believed that this unique experience for students has been an important step in shaping their future.

Project participants had the opportunity to meet with the rector, Viktor Moshynskyi, who answered the students' current questions and spoke about the present and future of the university. He also invited them to continue their education at NUWEE: "Our 'Dream Week' project provided unique educational opportunities for young people seeking their path in the world of knowledge and opportunities. We are impressed by the enthusiasm and energy brought by the participants of the 'Dream Week', and we are confident that this experience has been an important step in shaping their future. Our university is proud to offer such unique and educational opportunities for young people seeking their path in the world of knowledge and opportunities."

Viktor Semeniuk, the head of the preparatory department, explained, during the two weeks, high school students became students in their desired specialties. Together with senior students, they attended profile disciplines of the specialties, including lectures, practical sessions, and laboratory work.

"Throughout this exciting week, the students of our 'Dream Week' joined our students in pairs, exploring various aspects of learning and experiencing the atmosphere of student life. They not only learned more about their chosen specialties but also gained a new vision of their future careers and opportunities for personal development."
