For twenty-five years, the Radio Dictation of National Unity takes place on the Day of Ukrainian Language and Literature.
At the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering, "The Magic of the Voice" (the title of this year's dictation) was listened to and written by everyone: students from various disciplines, professors and associate professors, and staff members of the university’s departments.
In the reading room of the university's scientific library, the magic of the Ukrainian language and unity prevailed. This was unity not only among those present but also with all those who joined this massive event both in Ukraine and abroad. The goal of the dictation was not to test literacy but to write the text together with thousands of participants from around the world at the same time, to unite as many people as possible around Ukraine.
The text of the dictation will be published by the organizers on October 28 at 11:00 AM on the website of Ukrainian Radio. Anyone who wants to send their dictation for checking by experts can do so (here).
The Radio Dictation concluded with symbolic lines: “…for many years, Ukraine has been heard on the airwaves of the planet in its own voice. And no one will ever be able to turn off or silence our voice.”
We believe that this will remain true. We thank the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to write the dictation, to learn, and to teach.
