In the Open Office of NUWEE, as part of the All-Ukrainian program on mental health "How are you?", on the Community Action Day was held a meeting on the topic: "Mental health in universities - we care about the stability of students and teachers".
The main goal of the event: to remind students and teachers, as well as other participants in the educational process, of the importance of taking care of mental health and building own resilience.
The event was attended by the Head of the Rivne Regional State Administration Oleksandr Koval, the Head of the Rivne Regional Council Andrii Karaush; Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Nataliia Savina, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology and Natural Sciences of RSHU Vitaliy Pavelkiv, Vice-Rector of Luhansk State Medical University Oleksandr Pompii, representatives of IUEH, Rivne City Council, Rivne Medical Academy, students of Rivne Universities majoring in psychology, physical rehabilitation, social work, pedagogy and medicine.
Olena Bobrovska, the Regional Coordinator of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program in the Rivne region, noted, they gathered here to tell a little more about the mental health program, to share the experience of its implementation in universities, to outline places of practice and employment opportunities for students of the specified areas of training. And also - to work with practical psychologists, get acquainted with methods of sustainability, ways of restoring a lost resource.
During the event, several discussion panels were held, where attendees discussed the implementation of the All-Ukrainian mental health program "How are you?" in the Rivne region, strengthening the integration of mental health components in the student community, shared the experience of implementing services to support the mental health of students and teachers in universities. And also practiced special techniques to restore internal balance, in particular, such as "Breathing on the palm", "Stone, water, cloud" and others. In addition, the attendees learned where to go for psychological help and how important it is to take care of your mental health.
