The Rectorate of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering is a permanent collegial body that carries out, within the Statute of the University, operational management of the educational institution, in order to organize the implementation of the Constitution and current laws of Ukraine, bylaws and decisions of the Academic Council. own. The Rectorate is headed by the Rector of the University, and in his absence - a person who acts as Rector by order. The Rectorate operates on the principles of collegiality and transparency.

The tasks of the Rectorate are consideration, discussion, solution of current issues at the University and current planning, formation and distribution of assignments for employees, participants in the educational process in the following main areas of higher education:

- organization of the educational process;

- organization of scientific and innovative activities;

- organization of educational work;

- organization of international cooperation;

- organization of personnel and financial and economic activities;

- compliance with the procedure of internal quality assurance of higher education;

- making decisions on creating appropriate conditions for employees and students of the University to ensure the educational process, scientific and professional activities, promoting their social security;

- development of cooperation of the University with educational institutions, scientific institutions, public organizations.

- organization and control of the implementation of regulatory documents governing the activities of the University, the decisions of the Academic Council of the University, the Conference of the staff of the University, the Rectorate;

- resolution of issues defined by the Statute of the University.
