The Scientific and Methodological Council of the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering is a permanently acting collegial advisory body that monitors, analyses, coordinates and plans educational and methodological activities at the University. It identifies the main areas of scientific and methodological work on improving the efficiency and quality of higher education and imrpoving the educational process on higher education issues, scientific foundations of the organisation and management of the educational process, modern technologies, forms and methods of teaching, improving pedagogical mastery.
Main activities:
- determination of directions for improving the content of higher education, forms, methods and means of teaching and organization of the educational process, taking into account the development trends of the national and world systems of higher education;
- coordination of scientific and methodological work of educational and scientific institutes and departments;
- development of recommendations for improving education quality;
- providing explanations, interpretations, consultations on the application of normative documents on educational and methodical work;
- introduction of innovative teaching methods, the latest educational methods and technologies, modern hardware and software products;
- development of recommendations for improving the educational and methodological support of the educational process;
- promoting the continuous development of pedagogical skills of research and teaching staff;
- generalization and dissemination of experience of methodical work of domestic and foreign higher educational institutions;
- creation, improvement and ensuring the functioning of a single methodological system of the university;
- presentation of the best experience of methodical, pedagogical activity of scientific and pedagogical workers of the university.
