From July 24 to 28, 2023, a Study Visit combined with a Training session was organized for Ukrainian universities as part of the EU Erasmus+ project INTERADIS: International Student Adaptation and Integration at Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH AW), Germany.
This event aimed to deepen the participants' understanding of student integration processes and enhance international collaboration within the context of higher education.
The comprehensive program covered a wide range of topics and activities designed to provide valuable insights into the practices and strategies for supporting international students. Highlights of the event included:
- Welcome Address by Prof. Ulrich Müller, Vice President of OTH Amberg-Weiden
- Presentation of the Application and Selection Processes at OTH Amberg-Weiden
- Overview of the “PRIMUSS” Student Affairs Office by Emma Krahn and Daniela Winter, International Office representatives
- Integration and Adaptation Strategies for International Students presented by Cornelia Eichinger
- Study and Career Services at OTH AW, delivered by Susanne Prechtl
- Office Rallye and Feedback Session
- World Café Session to promote interactive discussions and idea-sharing
- Resilience Workshop facilitated by Oliver Schmidt, Hultgren Nachhaltigkeitsberatung UG
- Reception by the Mayor of Amberg, Michael Cerny
- Digital Classroom Insights by Romy Hösl, Competence Center for Digital Teaching
- Presentation by Uni-Assist on university application processes
- City Tour of Amberg and additional cultural activities organized by the OTH Amberg-Weiden International Office
