This challenge encourages participants to examine how the war is influencing water quality in Ukraine and how water needs and threats may change over time.
This Challenge will run within the framework of DigiEduHack 2024 and is part of the EU-funded GROMADA project.
The hackathon runs over 13 and 14 November and participants must be able to take part for its full duration.
13 November 2024, 10:00 – 19:00, Kyiv time.
14 November 2024, 10:00 – 17:00, Kyiv time.
The deadline for registrations is 8 November 2024.
Ukrainian and international university students, teaching staff, and activists are invited to join and work in teams of 4-5 people.
Any projects that are proposed need to be sensitive to the wartime context in Ukraine. Considerations should include the safety and security of participants and potential sensitivities around the collection, storage, and use of environmental data.
The event will be undertaken in English and participants must have the language skills to allow this.
Introductory webinar on 6 November, 09:00-10:30 UK time.
