The problem always arises when the old knowledge has already revealed its inconsistency, and the new has not yet acquired a developed form. Thus, a problem in science is a contradictory situation that requires a solution. This situation most often arises as a result of the discovery of new facts that clearly do not fit into the framework of previous theoretical concepts, that is, when none of the theories can explain only the revealed facts. To formulate a scientific problem means to show the ability to separate the main from the secondary, to reveal what is already known and still unknown to science on the subject of research.
The graduate student in a concise form illuminates what he knows about the state of the issue at the present time, indicates with the works of which scientists working in the direction of the chosen topic he is familiar with, formulates a scientific problem and a scientific problem, which he intends to solve in his dissertation work.
