From November 8 to 17, 2022, the NUWEE basketball championship was held as part of the XXIV NUWEE Universiade. The teams were divided into two subgroups.

In group "A", the 1st place was taken by the NNIAKOT team, confidently beating all rivals.

Places in group "A" were distributed as follows:

1st place was won by NNIAKOT team, 2nd place - NNIEM, 3rd place - NNIBA, 4th place - NNIAZ.

In group "B" 1st place was won by the NNIOZ team, 2nd place - NNIP, 3rd place - NNMI, 4th place - NNIVHP.

In the match for 7th place, the team of NNIVHP defeated the team of students of NNIIAZ with a score of 50:27. 5th place was won by the collective team of NNMI, defeating the team of NNIBA - 71:63.

In the semifinals, the NNIAKOT team defeated the NNIP - 77:73, and the NNIIOZ defeated the NNIEM team 52:34.

In the game for 3rd place, the students of the Institute of Law defeated the economists (59:35) and became the bronze medalists. And in the final, for the first time in the history of the university, the team of the health care institute became the champion, defeating the NNIAKOT team with a score of 72:47. NNIAKOT - silver medalists.

Valentyn Sheptytskyi, a student of the institute of health care, was recognized as the best player of the NUWEE basketball championship.
