Thanks to the Fulbright Specialist Program at the The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering was Vladimir Tarabara, PhD, Professor of Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering of the University of Michigan (East Lansing, USA).

As part of the planned program, a meeting was held with Rector of NUWEE Viktor Moshynskyi, meetings with faculty and students of departments and teachers of Rivne Technical College. A significant part of the program took place at the Department of Water Supply, Sewerage and Drilling with the active participation of teachers and the head of the department Sergiy Martynov.

The program of the visit also included a lecture for students "Membranes and membrane technologies: fundamentals and applications in water treatment", a lecture for research and teaching staff "Methodology for teaching the basics of water treatment for students and methodology for preparing graduate students for research." Of particular interest to Ukrainian colleagues were the original practices of preparing graduate students for research work. According to the participants of the meetings, such visits of foreign colleagues are valuable and can become a basis for closer cooperation and exchange of experiences.
