In accordance with the signed Global Compact with the UN, starting from 2014, every two years, the NUWEE presents the Social Report to the public. And despite the difficult times – the full-scale invasion of russia – the university continues to report to the public.
The university builds its activities and strategy taking into account the goals of sustainable development on seventeen universal principles in the field of human rights, labor protection, environmental protection and the fight against corruption and informs the public about changes.
The report, in accordance with the principles of the compact, contains standard elements of reporting from the Sustainable Development Reporting Guidelines (G4), issued by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
NUWEE, as a socially responsible university, ensures the reproduction of public intelligence by providing educational services to society; trains highly qualified personnel; forms the labor market; development of culture and norms of behavior (code of conduct, logo and corporate identity, Collective Agreement, Regulations on remuneration, rewards and bonuses), social relations, etc.
Social responsibility is the safety and health of employees and students, and social non-financial reporting is one of the main sources of information.
Despite the difficult trials for the country and every Ukrainian, the unversity took up the challenge with dignity, not stopping its activities with the beginning of the full-scale invasion of 2022. Online, blended and face-to-face learning allowed future specialists to continue to gain knowledge.
The report presents the results of the university's activities in implementing the principles of the UN Global Compact for 2022-2023.
It allows you to familiarize yourself with the educational and social responsibility, partnership with the community, economic, ethical and international responsibility of the university, view general information about the university, the group of students of various forms of education, learn about the achievements of the NUWEE in all-Ukrainian and international rankings. In addition, the report will allow you to familiarize yourself with the sustainable development goals and activities within their framework, the educational and sports achievements of the university community, with a list of launched and accredited programs, learn about new projects that provide quality of education and new approaches in the work of the preparatory department, dual education, international mobility and international partnership, gender structure at the NUWEE, innovations, infrastructure, economic growth, student startups, combating corruption and changes at the Department of Military Training to today's conditions, as well as charitable activities of the NUWEE.
