NUWEE is a permanent participant in the annual competitive selection of fundamental and applied scientific research, scientific and technical (experimental) developments conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The analysis of the thematic plans for 2013-2022 showed that the university was the doer of 32 research projects (Table 1).
In terms of educational and scientific institutes, the rating by the number of successful applications and implemented research works (Pic. 1) is as follows:
1. Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture.
2. Institute of Automation, Cybernetics and Computer Engineering.
3-4. Institute of Water and Natural Resources Management /Institute of Economics and Management.
5. Institute of Agroecology and Land Management.
During the specified 10-year period, other NNIs did not perform NDRs according to their activity profile, although individual scientists were involved in the implementation of other NDRs as co-implementers.
Other institutes did not perform educational and research works according to the activity profile during the specified 10-year period, although individual scientists were involved in the implementation of other educational and research works as co-implementers.
It is also worth noting the scientists who had the largest number of successful and implemented projects under their leadership during the specified period:
- Leonid Yosypovych Dvorkin, Doctor of technical sciences, Professor - 4.
- Petro Mykhailovych Skrypchuk, Doctor of economics, Professor; Petro Mykolayovych Martyniuk, Doctor of technical sciences, Professor - 3.
- Anatoly Mykolayovych Rokochinskyi, Doctor of technical sciences, Professor; Andriy Petrovych Safonyk, Doctor of technical sciences, Professor; Pavlo Pavlovich Volk, Doctor of technical sciences, Associate professor; Vyacheslav Ivanovich Harashchenko, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate professor - 2 each.
The above-mentioned 7 scientists ensured the implementation of 18 educational and research works, which is more than half of the total number.
For the period of 2018-2022, 26 projects of fundamental, applied research and scientific and technical (experimental) development were submitted by NUWEE for participation in the competitive selection, 8 were financed. As well as 27 projects of young scientists, of which 8 were financed.
