Every year, the university participates in the celebration of the professional holiday of science employees of Ukraine.
This year, the institution held many events within the framework of the Science Festival during the month. In particular, all-Ukrainian, international and regional scientific and technical conferences, scientific and practical and scientific and industrial seminars, presentations of achievements of scientists and exhibitions of scientific and technical achievements of teachers, panel discussions, meetings with employers, training webinars, round tables, photo exhibitions, open and guest lectures, exhibitions of scientific and methodical literature, scientific readings, brain-rings, financial quest – a total of 90. Students and scientists of all educational and research institutes were involved in the events.
And there was also a competitive selection of scientific, scientific-technical works and projects, which are financed at the expense of the external aid instrument of the European Union. The results of the AFISHE grant project were also presented, and the aquaculture laboratory at the NUWEE was officially opened within the framework of this project.
The most creative became participants in the "COOL IDEA" startup competition, and their work on the priority areas of science and technology development of young scientists was recognized in the "Best Young Scientist" and "Best Student Scientist" competitions (based on the results of scientific activity in 2023).The results of the achievements of our scientists and students are published works in well-known rating publications, attracted funds for the implementation of scientific research works, grant funding, received patents and certificates for objects of intellectual property, victories in competitions, scholarships and awards.
The Festival of Science ended with the awarding of scientific and pedagogical workers, young scientists and student scientists in the conference hall of the university with Honorary Certificates of the Rivne Regional State Administration and Certificates of the Department of Education and Science of the Rivne Regional State Administration, as well as diplomas of the NUWEE, gift certificates and souvenir products of the university.
Congratulations to the winners and participants of the contests were heard from the rector Viktor Moshynskyi and vice-rector Nataliia Savina. And the winners of the "COOL IDEA" startup competition received monetary rewards for cool ideas in their projects from our graduate, public figure and politician Serhii Paladiichuk.
