In the last week of November, a delegation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine headed by Minister Serhii Shkarlet paid a working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan. Among the heads of the leading institutions of higher education of Ukraine, who were part of the delegation, was the Rector of NUWEE Viktor Moshynskyi.

The main purpose of the working trip was to establish Ukrainian-Uzbek educational, scientific, technical and innovation cooperation, development of bilateral cooperation, launch of innovative startups, joint research.

During the seven days the delegation visited Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, where they held working meetings with the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Toshkulov Abdukodir, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Tourism and Sports, Rector of the International University of Tourism "Silk Road" Mr. Abdukhakimov Aziz, Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Ibrohim Yulchevich Abdurakhmonov, as well as with the Rectors of leading higher education institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The members of the delegation visited the International Week of Innovative Ideas "InnoWeek.Uz-2021", visited the innovation center with advanced technologies in robotics, energy, electrical engineering and biotechnology "INNO", where they got acquainted with its laboratories, training classes and coworkers, standardization, gyms, etc .; became participants of the Forum of Rectors of Ukrainian and Uzbek universities on the basis of Tashkent State Transport University.

In general, cooperation with educational and scientific institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan involves the opening of branches of Ukrainian universities and the development of joint training programs.
