Today in Kyiv, at the Kyiv School of Economics, the first event was held within the framework of the pilot project of cooperation between the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities and communities for the reconstruction of Ukraine, namely the educational forum "Rebuilding Ukraine through the synergy of universities and territorial communities". The goal of the project is to contribute to the formation of self-reliance in communities, more effective governance and the involvement of qualified experts for local development.
Within the framework of the event, several important panel discussions took place with the participation of rectors and experts from the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities, representatives of the public sector, as well as delegates from the twelve selected pilot territorial communities in which the project "Strengthening the capacity of communities for reconstruction through piloting their interaction with universities" will be implemented.
In one of these, our rector Viktor Moshynskyi took part. They talked about strengthening the synergy of Ukrainian universities and local territorial communities through rethinking the tools of socio-economic development.
The participants of the event also worked out effective mechanisms for involving the expertise of educational institutions for the reconstruction of Ukraine and discussed the strengthening of cooperation between Ukrainian universities and local territorial communities.
In addition, within the scope of the event, the parties discussed prospects for joint actions in the near future and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
We remind you that this project is implemented by the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities with the support of the International Renaissance Foundation.
