Diana LOPATINA, a student of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Cybernetics, Information Technologies and Engineering, majoring in 123 "Computer Engineering", shares her impressions of studying at the Lublin Polytechnic, Poland, within the Erasmus+ mobility program:

"I really liked teaching at the Lublin Polytechnic, namely their teaching method. At the lectures, the lector was always with a presentation, which he demonstrated and told. In practical classes, the lector first explained the exact task that awaits us, and then gave us the code (if it is programming) and set us a task that we had to implement. If something did not work out for someone, he always approached and gave advice on how to improve work solutions.

In addition, all participants of the mobility program were provided with textbooks as additional material to the course. It was for us as a methodical instruction. Exams were passed according to the presentation. We had all the information that was there on the written exam. There was no way to write it off, the teachers are constantly walking around the classroom, and before the exam we either give the phones to the lector or hide everything in the briefcase.

I also liked how we go over the material in practical classes. Every 3 pairs, we wrote test. Thus, we were able to repeat the studied material. Indeed, there were 2 opportunities to rewrite the exam, the grade in this case was the average value. If the first exam was C, and the second was A, then the final score will be B.

Arriving at the university, we were immediately informed about the Polish language course, which is mandatory. It took place every day for 2 hours. The course ended with an A1 level exam. I was able to get to know my classmates, with whom we still keep in touch. The students were from different countries: Morocco, Mexico, Spain, France, Algeria, Turkey, Georgia. Together we traveled, had picnics, attended the international Christmas party organized by the university, and also went out, talked a lot, helped each other, studied together.

Also, I had the opportunity to see not only Lublin, but also other cities in Poland. With our classmates, we visited Lodz, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw, Gdansk. All cities are extremely beautiful, saw and experienced Polish culture, tried Polish cuisine and visited many museums.

In addition, I met students from Ukraine who studied at the Lublin Catholic University, and with whom I still communicate. Together we organized various events, went to events to support Ukraine, as well as to Ukrainian concerts held in Lublin.

Thank you to my university for the opportunity to expand my horizons and present myself, my university and our Ukraine abroad!"
