The end of 2021 was marked by the award for the first place among the sites of higher education institutions of Rivne region. Updated in the summer, the website, now a web portal, has been updated by many university staff. How we came to this - read on.

2015 was marked by a flattering and strange feeling that the official website of the NUWEE lacks something. This feeling began to haunt the leadership, and later the research and teaching staff. Criticism was heard from everywhere, and the most ruthless was from students. So, there was a feeling of necessary changes, but there were no solutions yet. In any case, it all starts with the analysis and study of the issue. There was not enough time, and only Google Analytics analytical tools were at hand. The working group consisted of various experts and views on current needs.

The first impetus for change came from the unexpected side - from Kiev. The opening of a new section "Public Information" at the request of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was a success. Its purpose was to gather in a concise but structured way everything necessary for transparency. I am sure that after this small success - the group headed by the Vice-Rector directly and under the rule of the Rector, got a second wind.

In simple words about the complex. The core of the site was written to order, at the time using yesterday's technology. It turned out that the code was written in the Far East with elephants, and it's no joke! However, no one cared before. Price - two cyberattacks, many DDOS attacks, blacklisting of unreliable resources, program code was simple and illogical.

In 2020, the rector announced the emergence of a new site. At that time, the mobile application had completely replaced the printed schedules in front of the dean's office, and the anti-plagiarism service no longer seemed fun. The staff of the university felt the need for changes and introduction of technologies from which you will not get anywhere. 2021 was the year of "collecting scattered stones" of our information services. And this process will continue for another year.

We will continue to improve and develop the university's interactive web portal, awaiting the appropriate support of management in this important matter. Special thanks to all those who have a direct and indirect relationship to graphics, software code, criticism, building a quality web portal in general.
