On Friday, October 27, was a radio dictation of national unity. The dictation was usually held on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language. However, this year President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on changing the date of the celebration of the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language - from November 9 to October 27.

The radio dictation was called "Roads of Ukraine". Text by the poet Kateryna Kalitko, and reader was the actor and theater director Oleksiy Hnatkovskyi. The dictation of national unity covered the rules of modern spelling as much as possible.

Our university was not left out of the national event either. The event was attended by students, teachers and employees of NUVHP. After completing the dictation, it was necessary to send the written text by letter to the physical address of "Suspilny", or take a photo / scan it and send it to the television's e-mail.

The text of the dictation was published on October 30 on the website of Ukrainian Radio and Suspilnoho. The opinions of the participants of the event about the complexity of the text were divided: for some it was too complicated, for some it seemed simple, and for others the pace of dictation did not suit them.

By the way, last year the number of participants in the radio dictation of national unity set a record, but no one was able to write it without mistakes. Five participants made one mistake, 15 people made two mistakes.

Radio dictation is not only literacy and working on mistakes, but an opportunity for analysis and self-evaluation, further training and experience. After all, speech - oral and written - is a person's business card. Language is the unity of the nation. There is no national unity without a national language.
