Dear university community!
That is how this year passed. To say that it was difficult is an understatement. We remember February 24, 2022 with fear and confusion. The day that changed the future life of every Ukrainian. But emotions are fleeting. And fear and uncertainty were replaced by unity and determination.
We have accepted that we have to live on and work in these difficult wartime conditions. During this almost year of war, we learned to build a strategy of behavior for ourselves when external circumstances change, became adaptive, knowledgeable in military matters, united. We continue to defend the Motherland and volunteer, study and teach, despite the alarms and shelling, the lack of light, heat and water. We are as united as ever. I constantly remember all the fallen soldiers who gave their lives for a free and independent Ukraine, for the future of children. Among the fallen are many of our graduates, students, teachers... Although I was not personally acquainted with all of them, I appreciate their sacrifice and pray for the peace of their souls every day. As a matter of fact, I pray for the victory of good over evil, the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the invaders, Ukraine over russia.
Friends, let all the trials that befell you in 2022 only harden your mind, body and soul. Let only victories, rise and success await you in 2023. Let everything good in the coming year be framed by light, warmth and positive emotions from good news from the front. May peace, balance and our victory come! Together we will stand and win!
Happy New Year, Merry Christmas!

Rector of NUWEE
