In accordance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated November 30, 2022 No. 809 "On the awarding of the prizes for young scientists in 2022", based on the submission of the Committee for State Prizes of Ukraine in the field of science and technology, young scientists and groups of scientists are recognized at the state level every year.

In particular, graduate students, doctoral students, research workers, research trainees, engineering and technical workers under the age of 35, as well as teams of scientists. In turn, the group of applicants whose work is nominated for the award cannot exceed four people. At the same time, each of the applicants must be a direct participant in the performance of the work and each must have a significant creative contribution.

The basis for the award is outstanding scientific research that contributes to the further development of humanities, natural sciences, technical sciences, social progress and confirms the high authority of national science.

Thus, for the work "Scientific and technological principles of increasing environmental safety during the operation of water treatment facilities", a team of our scientists was awarded, including a leading researcher, Ph.D. Kunytskiy S.O., Ph.D. Ivanchuk N.V. and Ph.D. Shatny S.V.

For the work "Synthesis, thermodynamic properties and phase equilibria of chalcogenide and chalcohalide systems of various functional applications" was awarded to Dr. Moroz M.V.

All scientists of the NUWEE received the title of laureate of the award of the President of Ukraine, as well as a certificate and an honorary badge.
