Participation of young scientists of NUWEE in the round table "Research and Higher Education for Recovery of Ukraine"

On July 21, 2023, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine hosted a round table on the topic: "Research and Higher Education for Recovery of Ukraine", organized by the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

President Eurodoc Sebastian Dahle and Vice-President Eurodoc Pil Maria Saugmann took part in the round table. The participants of the round table were greeted by Ihor Taranov, General Director of the Science and Innovation Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Young scientists from 18 regions of Ukraine also took part in the round table, among which the Rivne region was represented by associate professor of the Department of Marketing Iryna Oplachko and associate professor of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics, Engineering Graphics and Machine Science Oleg Strilets.

Oleg Strilets presented the scientific and social activities of young scientists of the Rivne region during the war and outlined the prospects of the councils of young scientists in the region in the process of rebuilding Ukraine. Iryna Oplachko, together with her colleagues, revealed the projects of the Young Scientists Council by Ministry of Education and Science, aimed at supporting and stimulating the scientific and scientific-technical activities of young scientists.

Based on the results of the round table, joint solutions were developed and further areas of cooperation were agreed upon.
