During almost all of last week, the festival of student creativity "Golden Autumn" took place at the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering. It differs from the “Student Spring” in that among the participants only first-year students. Thus, talented first-year students get to know their senior colleagues.

The festival takes place in 2 stages: qualifying rounds and a Gala concert. During the first three days, representatives of academic and research institutions spoke separately every day. An expert jury evaluated the performances according to many criteria and selected the best of them to participate in the Gala concert. Among the genres this year, in addition to the usual dances, songs and comedy numbers, etc., there was strong author's creativity - poetry and music.

It so happened by chance (actually not) that the date of the Gala concert, which, by the way, was cosmically coolly organized in a night and half a day, coincided with the birthday of the NUWEE, which added even more symbolism to the event.

"Golden Autumn" is not a competition, but an opportunity to prove oneself, therefore there were no first places, winners and losers either. All those who made it to the Gala concert from the selection rounds automatically moved from the status of "participant" to the status of "laureate".

It is also worth noting that the organizers are clearly aware of the difference between entertainment, discotheques and other inappropriate wartime activities from student creativity, so the festival also had a national and patriotic character.
