On May 22, 2024, our Rector Viktor Moshynskyi and Vice-Rector for Development and Communication, Andrii Podlevskyi had a meeting with representatives of the Business Unity Association led by the Chairman of the Board Mykola Livshuk. During the meeting, a number of future areas of cooperation were discussed.
One of the main issues was the directions and forms of training students for the business needs of the Rivne region. Viktor Moshynskyi emphasized that cooperation with the business association will allow to build the higher education system even better and bring the educational process as close as possible to the realities and demands of the modern labor market.
It was agreed on the active involvement of business in the development and examination of educational programs, the organization of excursions to production, internships for teachers and industrial practices for applicants, support for gifted youth, assistance in the development of university infrastructure.
The Chairman of the Board of the Business Unity Association, Mykola Livshuk, spoke about the importance of establishing connections between business and education in order to train specialists who will work effectively in the conditions of modern challenges and trends.
In turn, Andriy Podlevskyi noted that the University has created a Partnership Development Center, one of the tasks is to establish effective communications with numerous partners and business.
A significant focus of the meeting was aimed at overcoming the regional shortage of business personnel, returning young people to Ukraine and creating attractive working conditions, opportunities for development and recovery due to the challenges of the war.
In general, the meeting was constructive and interesting, which adds confidence in the success and effectiveness of future cooperation.
