The Model 801 is a high precision electromagnetic type instrument that provides flow rates with an accuracy of ± 0.5% (of reading) over a wide range of flow rates (± 5 m / s) with a minimum immersion depth of only 5 cm.

The system consists of two main parts: a sensor for determining the flow rate and a control and display unit.

Two small, electromagnetic-type semiconductor sensors have been designed specifically for use with the Model 801 in open channels (or trays) where algae growth or the effects of household drains may be a problem for other types of meters.

The control and display unit allows you to select the averaging mode for the data received from the sensor, determine the standard deviation and support work with any of the two optional sensors.

The Model 801 measures water velocity in open channels with unique accuracy and is suitable for use in both clean and dirty water.
