Owusu Clinton from Ghana shared his stories about education in Ukraine (NUWEE)
"I already studied in the National University of Water and Environmental Engineering and honestly speaking I loved it very much. Unfortunately, due to the war I had to leave but after two years I still want to come back, why do you think I want to come back?
I loved everything about VODNIK, how I was treated was so heart warming from the campus to the hostel, I was showed so much hospitality. Our caretakers always had time for us, they made life in Rivne very easy for me. They always checked up on us, they really cared about our wellbeing. I even promised them I will get them gifts when coming back.
Our lecturers really had the will to teach us everything they could, even when we had difficulties in any topic, they motivated us and told us to master patience that everything was going to be fine.
The students were also nice and welcoming and made us feel safe and at home, I made some good friends, and they are friends for life.
The university had very good facilities that made studying very interesting and entertaining. From modern computers to nice lecture halls and nice lights. When it came to sports activities they were well invested in that too.
In my leisure hours, I enjoy music and participate in all sporting activities. I am hard-working and a dedicated student. My main strength is my ability to make informed decisions and apply appropriate principles and concepts to real life situations.
I look forward to the challenge and rewards of the university, and I am confident that it will equip me with the relevant skills and also enable me to achieve my goals and build a rewarding career".
