Dear Students! We are pleased to announce a competition within the framework of a twinning initiative with the University of Newcastle (UK) for an exchange programme for the winter semester of the academic year 2024-2025 (September 2024 - January 2025).
Target audience: 2nd-4th year students of Bachelor's degree and first-year Master's degree students.
Number of scholarships: 2.
The scholarship covers the cost of travel to the University of Newcastle and back to Rivne, accommodation in NU student dormitories, expenses related to studying and staying in the UK during the exchange programme.

Requirements for students: minimum level of English language - B2, good academic performance, high motivation!
Required documents:
1) a scanned copy of international passport;
2) CV in English (using the Europass template);
3) motivation letter in English (why you want to participate in the programme, what are your expectations, why you should be chosen, etc;)
4) certificate/reference of English language proficiency;
5) a list of disciplines and modules that you will study at the University of Newcastle and which will be accepted at the NUWEE, selected together with your tutor or head of the department - an individual plan completed and signed by the tutor and the director of the Institute;
6) a certificate from the Director's office with an extract of academic performance for the last semester or academic year in Ukrainian and English.

"In the event of the introduction of martial law on the territory of Ukraine, crossing the state border of male citizens of Ukraine aged 18 to 22 years who are pursuing a full-time bachelor's (master's degree in medicine, pharmacy or veterinary medicine) in higher education institutions of Ukraine of state or municipal ownership and who, in accordance with the Procedure for the implementation of the right to academic mobility, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 12 August 2015 No. 579 (Official Gazette of Ukraine, 2015, No. 66, p. 2183; 2022, No. 42, p. 2290), are participants of educational academic mobility programmes and are going to study at foreign educational institutions, is carried out by authorised officials of the State Border Guard Service in accordance to the rules of crossing the state border of Ukraine and availability of supporting documents.
Confirmation documents for students of higher education institutions of Ukraine of state or communal ownership who are participants of the academic mobility programmes are:
-a certificate from a higher education institution of Ukraine on the referral of a participant in an educational academic mobility programme to study at a foreign educational institution, indicating the basis for cooperation, the duration of the academic semester abroad, the absence of negative grades and facts of retakes of tests and exams based on the results of the last two semesters (six months) and confirmation of the applicant's level of proficiency in the language of instruction at a foreign educational institution;
-a copy of the academic mobility agreement certified by the Ukrainian educational institution in accordance with the established procedure;
-e-ticket of the student, verified by means of the Diia Portal using electronic devices by reading or entering a unique electronic identifier;
-military registration documents with the relevant marks of the district (united district), city (district in cities, united city) territorial centre for recruitment and social support.
Students of higher education institutions of Ukraine of state or municipal ownership who are participants in educational academic mobility programmes may continuously stay abroad for no more than the duration of the academic semester."
