ADMISSION
Admission to higher education institutions for foreigners and stateless persons is carried out in accordance with the Laws of Ukraine "On Higher Education," "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons", "On Ukrainian Expatriates," "On Refugees and Persons in Need of Additional or Temporary Protection," "On Establishing Additional Legal and Social Guarantees for Citizens of the Republic of Poland Residing in Ukraine," by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution dated September 12, 2018, No. 729 "On the Issues of Acquiring Higher Education by Certain Categories of Persons," by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Order dated November 1, 2013, No. 1541 "On Some Issues of Organization of Admission and Training (Internship) of Foreigners and Stateless Persons," registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on November 25, 2013, under No. 2004/24536, by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Order dated December 2, 2019, No. 1498 "On Approval of the Procedure for Establishing Quotas for Higher Education by Foreigners and Stateless Persons within the Limits of the State Order in Accordance with International Treaties of Ukraine," registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on February 10, 2020, under No. 153/34436, Regulations on the Organization of the Educational Process at NUWEE, Regulations on Admission, Conducting Entrance Examinations and Organizing Competitions for Foreigners and Stateless Persons.
DOCUMENTS FOR ENROLMENT:
1) Application form;
2) Document (original) and its copy confirming the obtained educational (educational and qualification) level required for admission;
3) Supplement (original and its copy) to the document confirming the previously obtained educational (educational and qualification) level required for admission;
4) Copy of the passport of a foreigner or a document certifying statelessness;
5) Valid health insurance policy (except for foreigners arriving from countries with which agreements on the provision of free emergency medical care have been concluded);
6) 8 passport-sized photos measuring 30*40 mm;
7) Copy of the certificate of a Ukrainian abroad (if available).
Documents specified in subparagraphs 2 and 3 of this paragraph must be certified in the country of issuance in a manner officially used in that country for such certification, and legalized by the relevant Ukrainian diplomatic mission abroad, unless otherwise provided by international treaties of Ukraine and in subparagraphs 2–4 of this paragraph must be translated into Ukrainian with notarized translation and submitted to the university in two copies.
ADMISSIONS TERMS:
- twice a year to obtain a certain level of higher education under accredited educational programs based on the evaluation of documents and entrance examinations conducted by the admissions office in designated disciplines and the language of instruction;
- throughout the year for study in postgraduate or preparatory department for foreign citizens.
Foreign citizens and stateless persons are admitted to study for Bachelor's and Master's degrees after signing a contract with the university and payment for training. Admission is made by the rector’s order of the university.
The order on enrollment of a foreigner to study for Bachelor's and Master's degrees is issued based on the decision of the admissions office and is entered in electronic form into the Unified State Electronic Database on Education .
Foreigners who arrive in Ukraine to participate in academic mobility programs or to study under educational programs agreed upon between Ukrainian and foreign higher education institutions are admitted for study taking into account the contractual obligations of the respective higher education institutions.
