Recently in Ukraine published a fresh ranking of higher education institutions based on Scopus indicators. The National University of Water and Environmental Engineering took 40th place, which is 6 positions higher than last year.

The results of the rating are based on the citation rates of scientific articles published by educational institutions or their specialists.

The rating was compiled based on the results of scientometric monitoring of subjects of scientific and publishing activity of Ukraine according to the indicators of the SciVerse Scopus database in April 2023.

The Scopus database constantly indexes more than 20,000 scientific publications in technical, medical and humanitarian sciences. This database also includes publications of scientific journals, materials of conferences and book publications.

In the rating table, Ukrainian universities are ranked according to the Hirsch index - a quantitative indicator based on the number of scientific publications and the number of their citations.

The indicators of our university are 1087 publications, 5067 citations. The Hirsch index is 30, which is 5 more than last year.

The positions of our university are strengthened every year in all rankings, so we confidently step towards the top.
